Oblong 8vo, contemporary 1/2 calf over marbled boards, re-jointed, extremities rubbed with some exposure, scuffed; initial plate ("Ems") bound upside down and backwards, fore-margins repaired in 4 plates, a few edge tears mended including 2 in gutter, dampstain in upper margin of "South" touching image, top edge of "Kildare" shaved, occasional staining.
